Marcel Van der Avert

Marcel Van der Avert studied economic sociology (University of Antwerp) and is a Master Practitioner of NLP (NTI). He has operational experience as a researcher, executive consultant, division director and company director. As founder of ZENIT he has more than 15 years’ experience in coaching results-focused change and communication processes within organizations: formulating and implementing new strategies, dealing with change, improving internal communication, developing a new leadership style and organizational culture.

He has wide experience in delivering international workshops and was selected to lead a session at the ASTD Congress (New Orleans, 2001) on leadership. The American Society for Training and Development is the biggest organization in the world for HR professionals.

Marcel is managing director of ZENIT NV, lectures at the Vlekho Business School and is UAMS executive professor (University of Antwerp Management School). He is the author of the management book “Results! How better cooperation leads to more productivity, commitment and profit” (Lannoo, 2004).
